My Ipod touch says it's connected to my wi-fi (ATT U-Verse via 2wire router) but it can't find any server nor can I hookup to any browser web sites. I have a PC not an apple. Does that matter? How can I fix my router or Ipod to allow them to communicate?
There are a couple things you could try:
Go into Settings, then General, then Reset, then tap Reset Networks (or something similar).
That might work.
You can also try restarting your iPod touch. You probably already know how to do this but just in case: Hold down your hold button, and home button until it resets. You're "Slide to turn off" slider will come up, but ignore it.
If those don't work, there is one last try. You can go into the AppStore and search for the app, "WifiTrak". This app is a wifi scanner, and helps you connect. This app will only show that you're connected if you truly are, and if the network is usable.
That's kind of your last resort, since it's a $.99 app.
OK! So i have the ipod video, the big one. and it was on my old computer but my oldcomputer doesn't work anymore. then my friend started uploading songs for me but he takes forever cuz hes a procrastinator ;). and i just need help to get my ipod to be on my new laptop and to get it put into limewire??
