aybe just 1 movie. Should i get an 8gb or a 16gb ipod touch? Also, tell me why i should get an 8bg or a 16gb ipod touch.
From what I have heard you should Wait. Sometime after September 8th they might release a 3rd Generation. If you look at the Apple Website they are giving away van iPod Touch when you purchase a Mac and the Promotion Ends on September 8th. So it looks like they are clearing inventory for whatever they have left.
Some possible new features:
1. Improved Speaker like the new iPhone 3GS
2. Camera (Maybe) like the iPhone 3G because they wouldn't want it competing with the current iPhone 3GS.
3. Possibly a 64 GB Version.

4. Also an OLED Display.
5. Built-In Mic.
If you had to get one now I would go for the 16GB. But I recommend you wait for a month. You won't loose anything by having the Latest and Greatest iPod Touch.

My IPod touch will only connect to the internet through my Linksys wireless-N broadband router if I remove all security when I set up the router, something I would prefer not to do. It will not connect if the security settings are WPA / WPA2 or WEP128. It says "cannot join network" even though I enter the Network Name SSID and the password. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
HD Video Converter can easily convert HD video formats such as AVCHD (mts, m2ts), H.264/AVC, MKV, MPEG-2 (ts), DivX, HD WMV, MPEG-4 and Quick Time.
I am sorry what does the above answer have to do with anything ... anyways I have an Ipod touch and have had this happen to me the only thing that I was able to do myself was to backup and reinstall my firmware this fixed the issue for me.
The iPod touch should be able to connect using WPA or WPA2 with PSK (pre-shared key) but you are going to have issues if you are trying to connect with WEP because the iPod will try Shared WEP first then failover to OPEN WEP, but by then you will already be failing authentication on the router.
Make sure that you are close to the wireless router when you try to connect and enter in the password a few times.
If you are still having no luck with WPA/WPA2-PSK, you can add a MAC filter to your router, you'll have to add the MAC address of the iPod touch and all the computers that you want to connect to the Internet. It won't stop people from sniffing your traffic or keep hackers off your network, but it would keep normal people from connecting.
