I have just bought a Rover 25 and I can't get my ipod to work throught the stereo. It's a goodmans with a port for usb connection but my ipod says shows the screen it has when you plug it into the computer and won't play. Also the cigarette lighter doesn't work so I can't charge anything. Is there anything I can check before I go to the garage?
well update your ipod software to make sure you can use the USB connection or just buy a transmitter that can go on batteries or goes on a cig jack. try to find a blown fuse for your cig jack, that might solve some problems
Check the fuse for the cigarette lighter as it is most likely blown.
The USB port on the stereo may only be suitable for plugging in memory sticks and not for Ipod connection.
there are a couple of things that you can connect through the Aux. If you had the stereo installed I would run that question by them.
